There is a unique energy that comes with summer in the Pacific Northwest, and here at Verdant Apartments, we believe the best way to celebrate it is by bringing people together. On a Saturday evening in June, we opened up our expansive central courtyard for our first Summer Courtyard Party — a gathering dedicated to good food, friendly competition, and welcoming our Shoreline neighbors.

Local Eats: Tacos, Ice Cream, and Courtyard Conversations
A great neighborhood gathering always starts with incredible food. To celebrate the summer solstice weekend, we partnered with some of the best local vendors to treat our community and guests:
- Tacos by La Malquerida: The first 150 guests to arrive scored free, authentic street tacos from the crowd-favorite. The line moved fast, the salsa was fresh, and the courtyard was quickly filled with the aroma of perfectly grilled local street food.
- Sweet Treats by Dippy’s Ice Cream: To beat the warm June evening air, a Dippy’s Ice Cream truck pulled up right on-site, serving premium, nostalgic ice cream bars that kept everyone cool while socializing in the courtyard.
Our outdoor dining spaces and lounge seating areas did exactly what they were designed to do: provide the perfect backdrop for residents to introduce themselves to prospective neighbors and catch up after a busy week.
Outdoor Games and Raffle Prizes
The heart of the event took place in the courtyard. Part of the space was transformed into an outdoor arcade with table tennis, cornhole tournaments, life-size Connect Four and Jenga, ax throwing, and football target practice that kept the energy high from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Between games, guests entered our summer raffle. We gave away gift cards for coffee and local businesses, giving a few lucky attendees an extra reason to celebrate.
Experiencing the Space: Agent-Led Property Tours
For the prospective renters who joined us, the evening offered more than just a great meal — it offered a first-hand look at what Apartment Living, Reimagined actually looks like.
Our leasing team led interactive, personalized tours of our model apartment homes and community spaces. Visitors got a chance to experience our open-concept layouts, check out our high-end finishes, and see exactly how our amenity spaces for modern living — from the sunlit courtyard to our resident lounges — function during real community events.
